ESSEN.ID Method Using IOT Narrow-Band Low Earth Orbit Satellite to Monitor Forest Temperature in Indonesia
The purpose of this journal is to make the program for Monitoring Forest Temperature in Indonesia using IOT Narrow-Band Low earth orbit Satellite is working properly. Since new technology for monitoring the temperature expand, but to implement it in Indonesia need to have an overview of how the implementation will be done, due to the technology, policy, budget, industry, and media need to be involved to make it successful. World Bank records the loss from forest fire almost affected 28 million people were affected, 19 people died, and nearly 500 thousand people experienced respiratory problems. Smoke generated from forest and land fires was also felt in Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam. IOT ( Internet of Things ) is now come with an extension feature, using the capability of satellite reach. The Narrow Band Low Earth Orbit Satellite now have feature for IOT connect to Low Orbit Satellite and transmit the data from the sensor directly. This technology is promising, and it is mandatory to make it work to monitor forest temperature in Indonesia.

Ariesta Satryoko start working as a System Analyst for Bank Mandiri Banking Application in 2001. He also active to teach and a consultant for ISO:9001 Management System for the companies to increase the efficiency in 2003 – 2007. Working and Focusing on Satellite and Broadcasting Industry since 2007 to 2009 ( DTH and IPTV ), he recruited by the Special Staff for Minister of Défense Republic of Indonesia for Public Communication in 2009-2014, to implement satellite based solution for Indonesia remote area, to serve the need for Data Communication and Television. He is working in SES for Indonesia region since 2015 until now.
